About You & Your Interests:

I am a compassionate, trustworthy and honest individual who began caring for others at a young age caring for my gran. I found this rewarding so when she passed away I went into professional care. As a carer, I use a person-centred approach, where giving someone your time and attention, sitting down with a cuppa or getting them out and about and active, compliments and enhances the benefits of medication and treatments.

Work Experience:

20+ years experience within the Health & Social Care Sector in roles such as Foster Carer, Healthcare Assistant to the elderly, Support Worker, Job Coach for vulnerable adults, Life Skills Coordinator and Live-in Carer. I have worked with mental health, such as Parkinsons, Alzheimers and Dementia, physical disabilities, multiple health conditions and have personal experience with learning disabilities and bipolar through supporting a close family member. Worked with both children, young adults and the elderly. I have a full enhanced DBS on the government update service.
