Dementia carer/companion Full Time

Mum is now on her own in my annexe, as Dad has gone into long term emi nursing care. She has mid stage Alzheimer’s but is very active, very able, and loves to walk, she is lost without Dad, and needs a carer who can wash her hair, cook all home made meals, keep the annexe sparkling clean, do the laundry and ironing, take her to any appointments, do the shopping, and most importantly take her to see Dad and out on lots of day trips, she loves walking, stately homes, antiques, Chester, etc, and the days she doesn’t want to go out, to be a companion- do jigsaws, watch tv together etc.
You must have dementia experience please.
A willingness to work extra hours in the evening would be appreciated so my husband and I can get out and about on occasions but it’s not essential.
Hours will be 9am – 6pm, petrol for trips out will be reimbursed, and coffees and cakes out with Mum will also be reimbursed
Your own car plus a clean driving licence will be required..
Rate of pay will be £11 per hour.
